Handmade products for hearth and home
 
Anna, Samuel and Mary look after animals and rake hay.  Our calves are raised for meat.

Our Southdown sheep give us both meat and wool. Barred Rock chickens are our egg layers.  We raise Cornish Cross chickens for meat.
We enjoy growing vegetables and fruits.

 

Many of our plants can be used for papermaking or for dyeing wool.  Papermaking:  iris leaves, beet tops, leek tops, pumpkin shells...Wool dye:  marigold, dahlia, zinnia, holly hock, black walnut hulls, rhubarb root...
